On November 28, 2010, Dominque Matthew McElroy, a 20-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, was shot and killed in a tragic incident that took place in the early morning hours. McElroy was found by police officers in a residential neighborhood suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred in the 3700 block of Ashland Avenue, an area that has experienced its share of violent incidents over the years.
