On February 20, 2016, 19-year-old Jose Manuel Chavez Tapia was found dead in his vehicle in San Antonio, Texas. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and was discovered four blocks away from the location of a drug deal gone wrong. The San Antonio Police Department determined that Tapia was involved in a drug transaction that escalated into violence.
