Caesar Vladimir Coronado, a Hispanic man from Katy, Texas, was found murdered on March 13, 2016, in Walker County, Texas. His body was discovered in a rural area about 80 miles north of Houston, and his burned pickup truck was found about 45 miles south of the location, near Conroe. Coronado was 45 years old at the time of his death.
Authorities believe that Coronado's 14-year-old daughter, Adriana Coronado Cavazos, was with him when he was killed. Adriana went missing shortly after her father's body was found, prompting an Amber Alert. The FBI, along with local law enforcement agencies, launched an extensive search for Adriana, fearing she might have been abducted.
The investigation into Caesar Coronado's murder revealed that he had been shot to death.
