Lee Matthew Jones, a 60-year-old man from Beaumont, Texas, was found dead in his home on April 30, 2016. He died from a single gunshot wound to the chest, and his body was discovered in the upstairs bedroom of his residence on 22nd Street in the West End of Beaumont. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially investigated as a homicide.
