Lakiesha Lewis, a 23-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on June 7, 2016. She was fatally shot at her apartment in northeast Houston by her ex-boyfriend, Darrell P. Mitchell. Lakiesha was the mother of Mitchell's three children, ages 5, 3, and 1, and the couple had an on-again-off-again relationship.
