Sandtrece Latoya Raliff, a 44-year-old woman, was tragically shot and killed in her home in southwest Houston, Texas, on June 16, 2016. Her 14-year-old daughter, Ariel Ratliff, also died at the scene. The suspect in the case, Michael Ratliff, 43, claimed that he acted in self-defense, stating that he shot his wife and daughter after they attacked him with knives.
