On December 14, 2023, 33-year-old Ashley Davis was found deceased in her apartment located in the 17400 block of Red Oak Drive in north Harris County, Houston, Texas. Family members discovered her body and contacted authorities around 11 p.m. Davis had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, and initial investigations pointed to her boyfriend, 51-year-old Richard Mitchell, as the primary suspect.
