Helen Lashawn Fletcher, a 30-year-old woman from Wichita Falls, Texas, tragically lost her life on June 16, 2016. She was found shot to death, and the investigation into her death led to the arrest of Robert Lee Fleeks, a 69-year-old man. Fleeks, who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Helen, told police he fired a warning shot to drive her away. However, evidence presented during the trial suggested that he shot Helen after they argued and used crack cocaine together.
