Demarcus Tucker, a 33-year-old African American man from Houston, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on July 20, 2016. The incident occurred around 4:35 a.m. near the intersection of Napoleon and Rosalie streets in the Third Ward area. According to police reports, Tucker was mistakenly identified as a target by a man who was attempting to sell drugs.
