He was found deceased from a gunshot wound in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle at 1700 Marfa Avenue in East Oak Cliff. The Dallas Police Department responded to reports of random gunfire in the area before discovering Davis' body. Despite their efforts, the case remains unsolved, and the police have sought the public's help in identifying the perpetrator.
