Angelo Polendo, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, was found motionless and bleeding from his head on October 11, 2016, at the intersection of North Sabinas and Lombrano streets in San Antonio, Texas. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Polendo with severe head trauma. He was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:29 a.m. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed his death.
