On November 4, 2011, Donald Smith, a 53-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was found shot to death in an incident that occurred on a residential street. Police responded to reports of gunshots and located Smith at the scene, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the prompt response, Smith was pronounced dead soon after.
