On February 9, 2017, 43-year-old Penny Stovall tragically lost her life in a murder-suicide incident in Corsicana, Texas. The incident occurred at the family's home when 46-year-old Jefferson Stovall, her husband, fatally shot Penny and their 8-year-old daughter, McKenzie, before turning the gun on himself. The bodies were discovered by authorities after a relative reported being unable to reach the family.
