Death by Force

On January 8, 2012, Lonnell Dortch, age 35, was shot and killed alongside another victim, LaShaun Holmes, while sitting in a vehicle on Annetta Street in the north side of St. Louis, Missouri. Both victims were discovered inside Holmes' vehicle, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head. The incident appeared to be a robbery that escalated to violence, but as of today, the case remains unsolved. No suspects have been arrested in connection with the killings.
