In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of Robert J. Burnett was tragically cut short. On February 14, 2012, the 28-year-old Black male was in the parking lot of the Blue Valley Market at 43rd Street and Cleveland Avenue when he was fatally shot.
