On February 14, 2012, Robert J. Burnett, age 28, was found shot and killed in the parking lot of the Blue Valley Market at 4300 Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 10:22 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Burnett deceased at the southern end of the parking lot, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
