Teahoga Glover, a 31-year-old male from Abilene, Texas, tragically passed away on July 27, 2017. He was hanging out with friends at a home in the 1900 block of Swenson Street when an argument escalated, leading to his death. According to reports, Glover was shot in the chest and later pronounced dead at Hendrick Medical Center. The incident occurred early in the morning, and witnesses heard gunshots before finding Glover on the floor.
Following the shooting, Willie Dale Pruitt Jr., a
32-year-old resident of Abilene, was arrested and charged with manslaughter in connection with Glover's death. Pruitt was taken into custody and held on a $150,000 bond. During the investigation, police found a 9mm gun believed to be used in the shooting near Lake Fort Phantom Hill dam. Initially, the family was told the shooting was accidental, but they began to suspect otherwise after learning about the disposal of the weapon.
The case drew significant attention from the community and Glover's family, who sought answers and justice for his untimely death.
