On August 19, 2017, 66-year-old Idalia Rodriguez was found dead in her home on the Far North Side of San Antonio, Texas. The incident was initially investigated as a murder-suicide. According to reports, Idalia Rodriguez and her husband, 62-year-old Douglas Rodriguez, were discovered by their daughter, who found them both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. The police determined that Douglas Rodriguez shot his wife before turning the gun on himself.
