Benson Briseno, a 29-year-old man from Austin, Texas, was tragically shot to death on August 23, 2017, at a north Austin apartment. Despite efforts from Austin-Travis County EMS to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and police were called to the scene shortly after the shooting.
