Vernon Williams Sr., a 51-year-old man from Littlefield, Texas, tragically died on September 18, 2017. He was pronounced dead at University Medical Center in Lubbock after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on September 18, 2017, in the 400 block of West First Street in Littlefield. Another individual was also injured in the shooting but received only minor injuries.
