On May 26, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in North Richland Hills, Texas, resulting in the death of 48-year-old William (Bill) Edward Platt Jr. Born in Tyler, Texas, in 1975 to Ed and Carolyn Platt, Bill moved with his family to Waxahachie in 1988. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1994 and later from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2000.
