Albert Thompson, a 38-year-old male from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on September 26, 2017. He was fatally shot by Derrick McCray, who was later charged with murder. Thompson and two other males were sitting in a vacant lot at 780 West Rittenhouse when McCray approached on foot and shot Thompson multiple times.
