On October 15, 2017, Ashley Perdomo, a 4-year-old Hispanic girl, tragically lost her life in a quadruple shooting at the Westward Square Apartments in Gulfton, Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the breezeway of the apartment complex around 10:40 p.m. Ashley was fatally struck by bullets, along with Miguel Marquez, 31, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals, Ashley's mother, Carol Perdomo, 35, and Zibullah Sahok, 30, were injured and transported to area hospitals.
