Robert Scott Marshall, a 58-year-old man, tragically lost his life on November 5, 2017, during the horrific mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The shooter, Devin Patrick Kelley, a 26-year-old former U.S. Air Force serviceman, carried out the attack, killing 26 people and injuring 22 others before taking his own life. Kelley's motive was rooted in a domestic dispute, and he had a history of violent behavior and anti-religious sentiments.
