On August 19, 2012, Richard Jones, age 34, was shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident took place in the Kingsway West neighborhood of the city. Officers were called to respond to reports of a shooting in the early morning hours, and they discovered Richard suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by emergency responders, Richard was pronounced dead at the scene.
