On December 21, 2017, six-year-old Kameron Prescott, a young boy from Schertz, Texas, tragically lost his life due to a deputy-involved shooting. Kameron was inside his family's mobile home when Bexar County sheriff's deputies were pursuing a suspect, Amanda Jones, who was wanted on charges of car theft and fraud. During the pursuit, deputies fired multiple rounds at Jones, and one of the bullets penetrated the wall of Kameron's trailer, striking him in the abdomen. Despite immediate medical att ...
