Shannon Smith, a 29-year-old resident of Wichita Falls, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2018. He was fatally shot at the Maurine Street Apartments in the 1200 block of Ridgeway Drive. Police responded to a shots fired call around 8:45 p.m. on New Year's Day and found Smith lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to United Regional Health Care System, he succumbed to his injuries.
