Cordera Sherrard Walker, a 34-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was found dead in the parking lot of the Haystack Bar, located at 315 N. Scott Street, after an early morning shooting. The incident occurred around 12:11 am when officers responded to a report of an assault with a weapon. Witnesses reported that Walker was shot in the chest.
