Paul Matthew Day, a 28-year-old man from Orange Grove, Texas, tragically died on June 21, 2022, in Wichita Falls, TX. Day was homeless and was shot near Scotland Park Elementary School. The incident occurred when Jason Christopher Myers, a 41-year-old man from Wichita Falls, confronted Day. Myers claimed that Day struck him, prompting him to fire several rounds at Day. Witnesses did not see a confrontation prior to the shooting.
