On November 4, 2020, 50-year-old Donald Michael Best, a white male, was found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1400 block of Taylor Street in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was transported to United Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m. The investigation revealed that Best had been in communication with Cody Ryan Stage, a 33-year-old white male, about purchasing a motorcycle for $2,000.
