On January 17, 2018, Jose Manuel Cintron, a 54-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was tragically killed during a botched robbery. Cintron, who was Hispanic, was shot and killed at his home in the 24000 block of Invitation Oak by Joseph Edward Hernandez, a 19-year-old. The incident occurred when Hernandez, along with Luis Oscar Paz, 19, and Jakob Harris, 18, attempted to rob Cintron of marijuana and money.
