Day'zshia McKinley, a 27-year-old woman from Fort Worth, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 21, 2018. She was fatally shot outside her apartment's front door while her three young children, ages 5, 3, and 18 months, were inside. The incident occurred moments after McKinley answered the door and stepped outside into the apartment complex's breezeway. Neighbors reported hearing a fight before shots were fired.
