Ashleigh Simone Elijah, a 24-year-old woman from Lufkin, Texas, tragically lost her life on May 18, 2018. She was visiting a friend in Lufkin when she encountered Andre Woods, a 21-year-old man. The confrontation escalated, and Woods shot Ashleigh outside her friend's home. Ashleigh was critically injured and was placed on life support but was later declared medically dead.
