On June 11, 2018, 34-year-old Eloy Mendez-Tapia, a Hispanic male from San Antonio, Texas, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting. According to reports, Mendez-Tapia was shot while in his bedroom during the incident. The San Antonio Police Department identified him as the victim shortly after the crime occurred.
