Sarah Maines, a 65-year-old woman from Gladewater, Texas, tragically lost her life on June 29, 2018. According to preliminary investigations by the Gladewater Police Department, Sarah was shot by her husband, 66-year-old William Maines, in their home. Following the shooting, William took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide, and no other suspects were involved.
