On July 27, 2018, Roel Mireles, a 41-year-old man from Robstown, Texas, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at his home. The incident was part of a larger crime spree that also resulted in the deaths of Thelma Montalvo, 60, and Isaiah Starry, 13, at the Retama Manor Nursing Center, and Ernest Starry, 85, at his residence.
