Melissa Ramirez, a 29-year-old woman from Laredo, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 3, 2018. She was one of four victims murdered by U.S. Border Patrol agent Juan David Ortiz, who was later arrested and confessed to the killings. Ramirez, along with the other victims, was shot in the head and her body was found in a rural area outside Laredo.
