Carlton L. Lewis, age 27, was shot and killed on June 24, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at approximately 9:18 PM in the parking lot of the Sycamore Groves Apartments, located at 1711 Kansas Avenue. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Carlton Lewis with apparent gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead shortly after.
