Delashon Jefferson, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 23, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. Jefferson, who was eight months pregnant at the time, was fatally shot during a violent altercation with her common-law husband, Lagarius Donnell Rainey, aged 25.
