Ruben Rene Huerta, a 46-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on October 31, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a former law enforcement officer who had worked for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office and the San Antonio Park Police. Huerta's death occurred during a standoff with federal agents who were attempting to arrest him on charges of receiving child pornography.
