Moore, a Black male, was at his home in the 4000 block of Spruce Avenue when a knock came at his front door. According to police reports, two individuals arrived at Moore's residence at approximately 8:35 p.m. in a green Ford Mustang with a convertible top. After they knocked, Moore opened the door, but upon seeing the men, he quickly attempted to shut it. It was in that moment that one of the men fired a gun through the closed door. Moore was struck by several bullets and collapsed just inside his home. Several of his relatives were present in the house at the time of the shooting but were thankfully unharmed.
