Graciela Torres, a 66-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on January 17, 2019, in Cypress, Texas, near Houston. She was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Arthur Edigin, outside the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church on Huffmeister Road. The incident occurred just after 7 p.m. when Edigin opened fire on Torres and their daughter, Penny Grace Edigin Zapata, who was also injured in the shooting.
