James Babers, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 20, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred at a convenience store located in the 11700 block of Ferguson Road. According to reports, officers were called to the scene around 2:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found three individuals who had been shot. Babers was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.
