On March 25, 2023, 31-year-old Darrion R. Hurst was fatally shot outside a convenience store in the 9600 block of Scyene Road in Dallas, Texas. Surveillance footage shows Hurst conversing with a friend near the store's entrance around 9 p.m. An unidentified individual approached, seemingly exchanged brief words, and then, without warning, fired multiple shots at Hurst before calmly walking away.
