Kevin Ellis, a 22-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on February 25, 2019, in Houston, Texas. He was walking in the 5600 block of Burnside when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant who emerged from a vehicle. The suspects then placed his body in the trunk of a stolen car and drove away. Ellis' body was later found in the trunk of the stolen vehicle.

suspects. The footage showed a slim-built man wearing a black jacket, jeans, and black shoes, and a medium-built woman wearing a pink jacket, pink pants, and sandals walking away from the car. Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Despite the ongoing investigation, no arrests have been made in connection with Kevin Ellis' death as of now. The case remains open, and authorities continue to seek information from the public to bring those responsible to justice.
