Daniel Aleman, a 28-year-old Hispanic male from Midland, Texas, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2019, in Dallas, TX. He had traveled to Dallas to celebrate his birthday and watch the Errol Spence vs. Mikey Garcia championship fight. Unfortunately, he became the victim of a fatal road rage incident.
On the night of his death, Aleman was involved in a confrontation with occupants of a white Chevrolet Silverado truck at the intersection of Stemmons Freeway Service Road and Empire
Central. The altercation began as a result of a traffic jam, and it escalated when the occupants of the truck, two Hispanic males and a woman, got out of their vehicle and began arguing with Aleman. The situation turned deadly when Aleman was shot and killed as he approached the truck.
The suspects fled the scene in the Silverado, and despite extensive investigations and the release of surveillance footage, no arrests have been made. Dallas Police Detective Frank Serra has been leading the investigation and has expressed hope that new video evidence and tips from the public will eventually lead to arrests. Crime Stoppers has also offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The case remains unsolved, and the search for justice continues as the family and friends of Daniel Aleman hold onto hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
