In the Baden neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, a life was cut short on a November evening in 2013. Deangelo Antonio Burgess, a 20-year-old African-American male, was fatally wounded by gunfire on Thursday, November 14th. The following day, he succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital.
