On August 9, 2019, Julien Charles Griffin, a 10-year-old boy from McKinney, Texas, tragically lost his life after being shot at the Atlantic McKinney Ranch apartment complex. Julien was transported to Medical City McKinney, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred in the morning, and police were called to the scene around 11:30 a.m.
