On April 20, 2018, Daray Vontrell Sims, a 37-year-old African American man from McKinney, Texas, was found dead in his home from multiple gunshot wounds. Daray Sims was discovered face down in the bathroom, which was covered with copious amounts of blood. His wife, Morgan Leigh Sims, 33, was arrested and charged with his murder.
