Vicente Segoviano, a 19-year-old Black man known affectionately as "Scooby," was a vibrant and caring person who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. A graduate of Lebanon Trail High School, he was remembered as a funny and outgoing young man who was a loving son and an amazing brother. His life was cut short far too soon, leaving his family and friends to cherish his memory.
In the early morning of January 29, 2025, police in McKinney, Texas, responded to reports of a
shooting at a residence in the 2500 block of Collin McKinney Parkway. Officers arrived around 4:06 a.m. and discovered Vicente with a gunshot wound to his chest. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. According to his mother, Vicente was the victim of a robbery in which his Air Jordans and backpack were stolen.
The McKinney Police Department launched an immediate investigation and quickly identified two suspects. That same evening, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the Glen Oaks/Stonebridge area and arrested 19-year-old Hassan Muhsen and 19-year-old Conner Gebhardt without incident. Both men were taken into custody and subsequently charged with capital murder in connection with Vicente's death.
Following the arrests, the paths of the two suspects diverged. Conner Gebhardt has remained in the Collin County jail since his arrest. Hassan Muhsen, however, was released on a $1 million bond at the end of January 2025, with a condition that he wear a GPS ankle monitor.
On April 24, 2026, authorities received an alert that Muhsen had tampered with his ankle monitor. He had cut it off and fled, becoming a fugitive. He is now considered armed and dangerous and has been placed on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list.
As of May 2026, capital murder charges remain pending against both men. Conner Gebhardt is in jail awaiting trial. Hassan Muhsen remains a fugitive, and a cash reward of up to $11,000 has been offered by the U.S. Marshals Service and Texas Crime Stoppers for information that leads to his capture.
