Antoinette Sloan, a 28-year-old African American woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on September 14, 2019. She was a dedicated social work student who had recently earned her master's degree and was preparing for her licensing exam. Antoinette was also a loving single mother to a 4-month-old daughter.
